About us

 

Little Monkeys offers quality dance instruction for kids age 12 months to 6 years old.  Classes are held at a private residence located in the beautiful Rancho Equestrian Neighborhood of Burbank, California.  Little Monekys Dance classes give children the freedom to be themselves.  While they explore movement, rhythm, musicality and technique little ones are given the space to be fully self-expressed and discover the little dancer within them.   We currently offered ballet classes for ages 12m-5 yrs.  If your little monkey is under 12 months click on the button below and join us for a babywearing dance class.

Background

 

Little Monkeys was created by professional dancer and dance instructor, Amelia Butler.  After becoming a full-time mommy in 2013 Amelia wanted to continue pursing her passion for teaching while still bonding with her baby.  She created Mommy & me dance classes when her daughter, Aria, was 6 months old allowing her to teaching, dance and bring the baby with her.  Moms enjoyed dancing and working out while baby was safely tucked away in a baby carrier.  For more info on Amelia's Fitness classes for moms and babies click here.  Once Aria became a toddler Amelia started up dance classies for babies aged 18 months to 3 years old and Little Monkeys was born.
